THE DIRTY NIL >> “Zombie Eyed”

The Dirty Nil

“Zombie Eyed” is all ragged gory guitar riffs, full of rapid-fire deadly beats and walking bass infected with The Dirty Nil‘s trademark punk vim and vitriol. The latest (and arguably greatest) sonic assault from Hamilton ON’s premiere power trio will eat your brains, gnaw on your ears, and leave your head in a bloody, pulpy mess. And you wouldn’t want it any other way.

Seriously, there is no stopping The Dirty Nil. Either join the crew or get conquered. Submit to their Higher Power on February 26 when Dine Alone Records drops the band’s first proper full length, a record the band says is “a dynamic and unified set of songs, this is us right here and now.” Amen.

In it, you'll hear a the broad strokes of someone who's explored a range of sonic influencers--from 13th Floor Elevators to Ride, The Velvet Underground to Atlas Sound--and is now drilling down through the gauzy haze of guitar drone to find their essence, their truth.
